Alberto Escofet
Alberto Escofet has a strong background in the financial and energy sectors. His expertise lies in investment and corporate financing operations, as well as the promotion, construction, and operation of sustainable infrastructure assets, with a particular focus on renewable energies and gases. Currently, Alberto collaborates with BlacktoGreen, a specialized firm dedicated to providing services in energy management and efficiency, designing net-zero and ESG strategies, as well as facilitating decarbonization efforts. Alberto actively contributes to the Mexican Association of Hydrogen and Sustainable Mobility, the Mexican Association of Energy Efficiency Companies and the sustainability commission of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. Alberto served as the Country Manager of Enagas and Grupo COMSA EMTE in Mexico, both highly regarded companies in the industrial and energy infrastructure sectors. These experiences have granted him extensive knowledge and expertise in the production and utilization of renewable gases, including hydrogen and biomethane. Furthermore, Alberto boasts a 14-year tenure at INVEX Grupo Financiero, where he spearheaded the promotion and structuring of investment projects, corporate financing, and mergers and acquisitions operations. Alberto holds a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and he is pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Energy Efficiency.
