EVO just released the IPMVP Generally Accepted M&V Principles, a condensed version of the IPMVP Core Concepts. This document is meant to facilitate the dissemination of the IPMVP principles to a non-technical audience. It comes in response to a growing demand from a variety of interested parties.

M&V concepts are increasingly discussed in the context of policy and regulatory development, the emergence of alternative energy efficiency financing mechanisms, as well as in energy efficiency program deployment and evaluation. This document will help these stakeholders grasp the basic M&V concepts as detailed in the world recognized IPMVP framework. The IPMVP Generally Accepted M&V Principles document is available in the publication section on the EVO website.
