EVO is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with AFNOR Competencies for the delivery of EVO’s CMVP® training in France, Switzerland and Belgium. The multi-year agreement will build on many years of successful CMVP® training delivery by the Institut de formation et de services d’efficacité énergétique (IFS2E), from whom the agreement was transferred. The new agreement is effective as of February 23, 2017.

EVO is pleased to announce the release of a new protocol, the IPMVP Renewables Application Guide – EVO 10200 – 1:2017. This document includes M&V options for renewable energy systems within the IPMVP framework, and includes examples and recommendations for specific applications. Renewable energy technologies include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, small hydroelectric, ocean thermal, wave and tidal energy.

The IPMVP Core Concepts 2016 was recently translated in Turkish with the appreciated support of EconolerEYODER and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey. EVO would like to thank these previous collaborators for their support. The document is now available for download in the Subscribers’ section on the EVO website.

It is with great sadness that we learned that EVO’s friend and long time supporter, Art Rosenfeld, passed away Friday January 27, 2017 at age 90. Considered by many as the “godfather of energy efficiency”, Art Rosenfeld leaves behind an impressive legacy as a professor, as an energy efficiency leader, and as a policy influencer. Less known is Art’s important contribution to the foundation of EVO.
