Desi is an economist in International Economic Relations and holds an MSc degree in International Business and Management – both from the Academy of Economics, Svishtov, Bulgaria.

Ms. Borisova worked for the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Waters. As expert in the International Relations department of the Ministry, she coordinated the relations with numerous countries in relation to the environment protection and climate change. Further on, Ms. Borisova worked as Project Manager and Head of Information unit at the Center for Energy Efficiency EnEffect, Sofia, Bulgaria. She has worked on various EU projects including preparing project documents, timetables and budgets. Ms. Borisova has gained considerable experience in working in multilingual environment where parties from different countries are involved.

Ms. Borisova currently staffs EVO’s Training Committee. Her main responsibilities as EVO Training Director are focused on working with the training partners towards organizing training events, CMVP certification and recertification, and coordinating training materials translation. She also supports and attends the meetings of the Extended Training Committee (ETC) and the TC-IPMVP Discussion Group. Her duties include developing and maintaining training agreements, accounting support, forming local CMVP Boards and responding to training related inquiries.
