Appointment of a New Board Member
EVO is pleased to announce the nomination of Laura Van Wie McGrory to the Board of Directors of EVO effective December 2017. For more than two decades, Laura has been managing international energy efficiency projects in the United States, Asia, Africa, SE Europe and Latin America.
She is Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the Alliance to Save Energy. She is also Vice President for North America with the International Institute for Energy Conservation.
Thank you to Departing Board Members
EVO would like to thank departing Board members Anees Iqbal and Bob Dixon for their dedicated service in the past several years. Anees initially joined the Board in 2009 and Bob in 2014. EVO benefitted greatly from their vast experience in the energy efficiency and environmental sectors.
New Executive Committee
At their December 2017 meeting, Board Members also appointed a new executive committee. As of January 1st 2018, the officers of the corporation are: Pierre Langlois – Chairman; Neil Salisbury – Vice Chair; Mark Lister – Secretary; and Tom Dreessen – Past Chair. To ensure continuity in EVO's operations, Tom Dreessen also accepted to act as Treasurer for a one-year term.
