Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) today announced that at their January 7, 2020 meeting, the Board of Directors appointed new officers for the period 2020-21. Mark Lister accepted his nomination and appointment as Chairman of the corporation.

Laura Van Wie McGrory has joined the executive committee and was appointed as Secretary. Neil Salisbury and Tom Dreessen have been re-appointed in their positions of Vice-Chair and Treasurer. Pierre Langlois, who served as Chair in 2018 and 2019, will now be acting as Past-Chair.

In recent years, EVO board members provided the impulse and direction to strengthen the organization both financially and professionally. EVO has gradually increased its presence in many markets throughout the world while developing new products and services. These activities have paved the way for the further development and adaptation of market-responsive protocols and application guides.

“I am excited to be given the opportunity to help lead EVO through this next phase. As the global imperative to reduce emissions and deploy energy efficiency gathers pace, it is becoming increasingly important to provide confidence to mainstream investors about ongoing project returns derived in terms of both energy and non-energy benefits”, said Mark Lister upon his appointment.

EVO has been a global authority on this topic for decades, having developed world-leading tools and methodological content that underpin robust, best-practice monitoring and verification. “The challenge is now to assert EVO's leadership, capitalize on and give greater visibility to these tools while tailoring them to market needs for quick deployment, and to harness all the expertise of EVO's established community of expert technical contributors,” added Mark Lister.
